An indoor percussion (IP) performance features battery and front ensemble instruments, plus marching, movement, theatrics, and often props. While most indoor percussion ensembles are scholastic groups, there are many independently funded groups whose participants endure lengthy commutes to and from rehearsals.
Like most high school IP teams, Dixie Heights Indoor Percussion typically starts rehearsing soon after marching band season ends.
